Phil Booth gained his BA, MPhil and PhD in Classics from Cambridge, and has worked in Oxford since 2008. He is the author of Crisis of Empire: Doctrine and Dissent at the End of Late Antiquity (Berkeley, CA, 2014), and of various articles on the history of the sixth- and seventh-century Near East. He is now A. G. Leventis Associate Professor of Eastern Christianity, in the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Theology and Religion, and the Director of the Oxford Centre for Late Antiquity.
Vendi Jukić Buča has an MSc (2008) and a PhD (2015) in Archaeology from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and a MA (2014) in Fashion Design from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She worked as a Research Associate for Manar al-Athar, www.manar-al-athar.ox.ac.uk (Founder: the late Judith McKenzie) at the Oxford University before moving to Copenhagen in 2022.
She is the founder and editor-in-chief of the first Croatian website about archaeology Arheologija.hr. She is also involved in the reconstruction of Roman period costumes under the brand Archaeorobe.
